Rainy season is like a blessing after the hot summer. You baby will definitely love to watch the water drops falling by the window or balcony. The season comes with several diseases. So, here are some caring tips to keep your baby healthy.

Clean home

With the moisture in the atmosphere it allows bacteria and virus, so it is very important to have a clean house. Check different parts of your home as well as bathrooms, gardens, balconies for clogged water. Make sure that the drains surrounding your house are totally clean and fit all the loose electrical wires. 

A healthy diet

If your baby is having breast milk, make sure that you are taking a healthy diet. As breast milk has all the needed antibodies and probiotics,which helps your little one to stay healthy. If your baby has already started solid food add some seasonal fruits and vegetables to her diet.

Special attention to the mosquitoes

Rainy season is also the season of mosquitoes. Mosquito bites are really painful for your baby, which includes red marks and selling. Opt for a mosquito net in order to keep her safe and dress her in covered clothes. If you have any mosquito repellent made with all natural ingredients, and safe for baby’s skin you can use them while going outdoors. 

Special attention to the clothing

When monsoon hits the atmosphere faces two major changes. One due to the rain the temperature falls down and lets the trapped heat to escape. Another change is the air has a lot of moisture and the weather becomes humid. So, sometimes it feels hot and sometimes cold. Choose cotton clothes for your baby, that can be both thin or thick. This will also keep her warm and breathable. Make sure that the clothes are totally dry before putting them on your baby. The humidity makes the clothes damp aso it will be best if you dry iron them before use. It will make them super cosy and comfortable according to the weather. Make sure to change the diaper frequently, the damp weather and a wet diaper increases the chances of developing diaper rash. Clean your baby’s private part very well and let it dry completely before putting on a diaper. 

Keep your little angel clean

There is simply no point in keeping the surrounding areas clean if all the germs are living on your baby’s body. So, with cleaning the places it is also important to keep your baby clean. The humid weather will make her sweat more so, clean her with a damp cloth and give special attention to genitals, armpits, ears and other areas also in order to avoid any kind of infection. Clean your baby’s private part very well and let it dry completely before putting on a diaper. 

Avoid crowds

The more people carry more germs and increases the chances of catching an infection or disease. So, try to avoid crowded places as much as possible. 

Apart from all the above mentioned things there are many more things that you need to do, it will be best if you make a habit of them, like give your little angel always homemade fresh food, carry a portable sanitizer, wash your hands properly before touching your baby.
